Subject: GIS MAPPING SPECIALIST Job Opening - Grubb & Ellis Company

We currently have a job opening for a GIS Mapping Specialist in our Torrance office.

Primary responsibilities include creating maps for real estate site analysis; including competition maps and working with large volumes of geodatabase data.

Position is responsible for assisting brokers with the creation of maps for print as well as interactive online maps for presentations.

Requires degree in Geography or related field with emphasis in GIS.

Experience with fundamental GIS concepts including knowledge of census demographics, geodatabases, georeferencing, geocoding, vector and raster data.

The ability to work with graphic software Adobe Suite to graphically enhance the final product is a plus

Must be customer service oriented, creative and detail oriented with proven experience in map layout and design.  Software requirements include ArcMap (ArcView, ArcEditor, ArcCatalog), ArcServer, ESRI Business Analyst, Google Earth, Adobe Suite.  AutoCAD experience preferred.
